OUR MISSION
The mission of the Charles R. Drew Charter School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), is to foster a strong partnership between parents, caregivers, teachers, and staff, to enhance the educational experience and well-being of every student. We strive to encourage parent involvement, open communication, and create a positive, inclusive community through volunteer efforts, events, and advocacy.
What does the PTO do for Drew Charter School?
Our goal is to provide support to our students, teachers, and families through school programs and community events. Special thanks to our partner, Drew CARES, who helps to fund these initiatives.
Our PTO provides:
• Teacher and Classroom Enrichment and Innovation Grants for projects
enhancing student learning
• Teacher & Staff Appreciation programs
• Social Opportunities for the Drew community including Parents Night Out,
Screen on the Green, Senior Walk, etc.
• Walk & Roll to School Day and other Health & Wellness initiatives
• Eagle Giving holiday gift donation program
• Room Parent organization and support
and so much more!
